Due to the coronavirus epidemic, starting June 1st, souvenir shops will be open from 10:00 to 18:00 and restaurants will be open from 11:00 to 18:00.

By Shinkansen: Shinkansen to JR Kumamoto Station. East Exit to Tram Line, board A or B towards Kengun. Get off at Kumamoto Castle/City Hall stop. Cross street toward Castle and follow signs to Sakuranobaba Johsaien.
By Bus: Board bus to Kotsu Center. Get off at Kotsu Center, head towards Castle, follow signs to Sakuranobaba Johsaien.
